It appears that noted producer Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 has finally sold the Purrari, which has lost its iconic Nyancat wrap in the process. It was taken away and the proceeds are now going towards his new project... the Nyanborghini Purracan!

He even said goodbye to the old Purrari on Facebook when it left his house on the back of the flatbed.

The new car will even feature his new improved license plate just ordered from the Service Ontario site.

Lamborghini can do this right if they create a full set of custom Nyanborghini and Purracan badges for the new Purracan just to show Ferrari that it is okay to have a sense of humour.

I can't hate him for any of this. On the one hand, he's engaging in the most insane belittling of the *ideas* of these cars known to man, but on the other, he's having fun and doing zero permanent damage. It's like if the mayor of London were to direct that every tenth Beefeater at the Tower Of London on Tuesdays has to wear a tutu. Respect-destroying, but kind of funny, and baffling and ridiculous enough that you kind of have to watch.

something tells me Lamborghini will embrace this and show their free spirited side to insult Ferrari for being too stuck up. I swear anytime I hear "pedigree" the smug fanciness level increases to "caviar served on golden plates" We can't handle that much smug!

The Japanese car culture has it right in this way. They love to customize cars just for a laugh. I mean I have seen cars there with tailpipes shaped like Mickey Mouse, and Hello Kitty stickers on them. You have to have a laugh every once and a while.
